Where did you do your work experience?

What did you do?

I worked for a week on ward one, looking after adults. I took 'obs' [patient observations] and enjoyed everything I did

What did you enjoy most?

I enjoyed everything! The experience was brill and the staff were great to work with.

What did you learn?

I learnt a lot of things in just one week which I still remember now, I learnt how to make beds, how to take temperatures and also how to talk to patients, it was an amazing week and really made me want to work for the NHS and help other people to get better.

Do you have any advice for other people?

Just smile!! offer help, and enjoy the work you're doing, make it fun! :)
