Where did you do your work experience?

Basingstoke

What did you do?

I worked in the equipment library in the first week and in the pharmacy the second week.

What did you enjoy most?

The staff there are really friendly and the work was a lot of fun. I was introduced to a few doctors and got a deeper insight into their lives.

What did you learn?

I learned about the inner workings of the hospital, about how the equipment is maintained, what it's used for and how it's distributed. In the second week I learned about the different medication used and how it is distributed around the different wards.

Do you have any advice for other people?

Give it a go, it is really fun.
