Where did you do your work experience?

What did you do?
I spent some time in the baby clinics and on ward rounds, shadowing healthcare assistants and observing nurses on the neonatal ward.
What did you enjoy most?
Spending time on the neonatal ward - the babies were so tiny!
What did you learn?
I learnt that there are so many different jobs in the NHS, not just doctors and nurses. Everyone has to work together.
Do you have any advice for other people?
Apply very early. There is a lot of competition!
